Last August 2019, I and my
friends decided to celebrate our birthday at the beach. It was not only a
birthday celebration but also a time to bond, relax, chill and just have fun.
We just want to disconnect from our daily routine and we feel like taking a
break is what we truly deserve.
From Davao City, it takes almost
3 hours going to Puntalinao, Banay-banay. You don’t have to worry about
locating the resort since it was just along the highway.
The resort is really nice and well maintained. Their
cottages are well-designed and really comfortable. It is very spacious and
well-ventilated. There are a lot of things that you can do aside from swimming.
You can play billiard, table tennis, volleyball, dart and chess. There is also
swimming pool for kids and adults. They also have restaurant which serves short
orders.
It has a white sand beach.
However, I recommend to wear your slippers or swimming shoes when swimming since
there are a lot of stones which might hurt your feet. They also provided a
bamboo raft “gakit” for extra fun.
Day tour rates is at 100/head for
adult and 80/head for children. Overnight rates is at 180/head for adults and
120/head for children. We stayed overnight and rented a cottage for Php 3,000
good for 10-15 persons. The cottage is clean however basic toiletries are not
provided so better bring with you your personal toiletries. They also have a
grilling area and sink for washing which is just beside the cottage.
Overall, the place is very relaxing. Perfect for those who
want to take a break from the noise of the city. It is great for family bonding
and chilling out with friends.

occasions such as wedding, birthday party, reunions, anniversaries, seminars,
